Snow School

With over 130 certified instructors, we are able to offer skiing and snowboarding programs for all ages adding fun and excitement to this wonderful sport.

We allow the necessary time for you to improve your techniques and further develop your abilities. Rates are for the 2019-2020 season.


    Lift tickets or a season pass is required for all programs. All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
    Ski or snowboard private lessons are offered at 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m., or 3 p.m..

    It is recommended that children 6 and under be placed in a one person private only.

    Reservation and payment required 24 hours in advance. No refunds on private lesson. For a cancelation of a private lesson, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule, based on availability.

    Lift ticket (7 years and +) and ski rentals available at a discount with the purchase of your private lessons.

    Requirements: Group must be of minimum 4 people, 8 years and up
    Intro ski & surf is a group lesson for those who have never skied or snow boarded before.

    This program will introduce or develop junior ski athletes to all mountain skills and the exciting world of snow cross racing. The focus is to enhance the skier’s skill development in a fun race discipline.

    A minimum level of ability is recommended:

    Some separation of upper/lower body, use of all joints, pole plant on the correct side and round turn shape.

    Start: Saturday, January 11, 2020
    Time: Each consecutive Saturday, optional races Sunday*
    2 ½ hour morning + 1 ½ hour afternoon
    9:30 am to 12:00 pm + 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
    Age: 8 yrs. old and up
    Skill: Intermediate to advanced
    Ratio: 1 coach/instructor to a maximum of 10 athletes
    Price: Lessons $399 (Lift tickets or season pass required)

    Each participant must have a race certified helmet.

    *Optional race fees may apply. Races are held within the region.

    Congratulations to our very own William Scott, who ended his season 3rd ranked in U15 provincial and 3rd place champion in U15 SBX National Finals. He has since been recruited by the provincial snowboard team.

    Lift tickets or a season pass is required for all programs. The use of a ski/snowboard helmet is strongly recommended. Helmets are available for rent but are not included in a rental package.

    T.A. Prep lesson program

    Do you want to get your level I instructor?

    Do you want to become an instructor at Ski Vorlage? This is the best place to start!

    The Ski Vorlage Teaching Assistant prep lesson program is directed towards 13-14 year old participants of Ski Vorlage, or other resort ski and snowboarding programs.

    Lessons are tailored to preparing young skiers and snowboarders to joining our T.A. program or as an instructor.

    Instruction is geared towards helping participants in achieving a level 1 instructor certification.

    The course is lead by experienced and certified Level 3 instructors with a proven record of helping youth achieve their certification.

    Participants will have the opportunity to “shadow” snow school youth programs under the guidance of mature instructors and gain a hands-on experience into the world of youth sports teaching.

    Program costs $206 (+ $152 lift pass) 8 Saturday or Sunday mornings 10:30 am

    This program is intended to help in transitioning towards working as a T.A.

    T.A. (instructor’s assistant) Program

    (13-17 yrs.) Intermediate to advanced skiing/snowboarding skills.

    Join our new and exciting T.A. program and earn as you learn. Assist certified experienced instructors in a group lesson format and gain valuable leadership/organization skills.

    Improve your on hill skills under the guidance of some of the Outaouais’s most experienced and highly qualified instructors with the goal of achieving your nationally recognized instructors certification as a priority.

    C.S.I.A/C.A.S.I Instructor Certification Program

    (15 yrs. Min) Intermediate to advanced skiing/snowboarding skills.

    Only a medical certificate or permanent relocation (minimum 150 km. from Vorlage) will be considered for refunds. More than 30 days prior to the start of the program, refund subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.

    From 8 to 30 days prior to the start of the program, refund subject to a 15% administrative fee.
